Hello there, my name is Carrie Price, I am Owner, Director and Lead Guide for Modern Montessori of Bend. Here is a little bit about me… I have lived in Bend my whole life (and honestly don’t think I will ever move). Before starting my own school April of this year 2024, I was the on-site director and lead toddler and Primary teacher at a local Montessori in Bend for 12 years. It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic steppingstone to opening my own Montessori School. I have been working in the classroom for over 17 years and have many years in the Montessori world. I have been working with children for almost 20 years (nanny, daycares, preschools and head start). I graduated from OSU Cascades with a degree in Human Development and Family studies, along with completing my toddler Montessori certification and primary Montessori certification. My hobbies consist of dancing, swimming, hanging with my family, friends, attending concerts, hockey games, and soaking up all the wonders that Bend, Oregon has to offer.
